FESTIVAL OFF

EXPERIMENTAL SPACE FOR NATIONAL GROUPS

 

 

Space for theatrical experimentation with short plays, a space open to creativity and artistic daring and dedicated to small-format and short-term shows. They are presented in alternative spaces and in late hours. In 2017, it returned to its usual format, aimed only at national groups, with a theme and/or scenario previously defined by the organization.

UNIQUE THEME LESS ALCOHOL MORE LIFE

 

Within the scope of a magistracy of influence and close to the people, His Excellency, the President of the Republic of Cape Verde, Dr. Jorge Carlos Fonseca, together with the Ministry of Health and Social Security (MSSS), the Ministry of Education, Family and Social Inclusion (MEFIS), the World Health Organization (WHO) and more than seven dozen state and civil society entities , are promoting the Campaign for the Prevention of Abusive Use of Alcohol “Less Alcohol, More Life”. This year the Mindelact Festival joins this vast campaign, in order to fight one of the biggest social scourges of Cape Verde.​
